Have any of you ever journaled a hymn. Makes you really think of it's mesage. Try it.?

I lost my voice for awhile (it is back again but no longer sing public functions as it has changed with age., so I read the hymns and vs by vs and chorus by chorus, write down what it is saying, at least to me. It is fun, interesting,uplifting,inovative, challanging and I found one with the words on one page and the composer and lyrisit on the opposite=helps understand why they wrote the hymns and often under dire cirstances.
