Can I let my dog with a hot spot in her kiddie pool?

I have a kiddie pool for my labrador for when it's really hot. She's got a healing hot spot on her neck, and I was wondering it anyone knows if it's OK to let her get wet, or should I just wait until it's all healed? I imagine I'd need to dry it well afterwards and put her medicine on again.
