MySpace grey background thing?

Right, its a boring myspace question! When you open a myspace page, its got my profile and profile information in the middle, and it looks fab, but on both sides of the profile is a greyish area, where i've seen on other profies people have pictures there, for example a tiled picture of bart simpson say. How would I do this without effecting the rest of my profile, is there a URL/HTML or something? I've tried googling it, but it got more confusing
