Transferring a to a new school and joining a frat?

I currently belong to a local frat (non national) at a small college in Nebraska. Can I join a different chapter fraternity at the D1 school I am transferring to next fall, even though I was in one this year? (the greek system at the D1 school does not offer the chapter that I am current in)
